Frisco Voter Guide: November 3, 2026
Frisco voters are heading to the polls for the November 3 general election, with early voting running October 19–30. The most important first step is identifying whether your registered voting address is in Collin County or Denton County. Frisco spans both counties, and the city directs residents to the appropriate county election office for polling places, hours and ballot details.
Key dates and hours
The voter-registration deadline was October 5. In-person early voting began October 19 and continues through Friday, October 30. Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, with polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters in line by 7 p.m. on Election Day are permitted to vote.
For both Collin and Denton counties, published early-voting hours are October 19–23, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.; Saturday, October 24, 7 a.m.–7 p.m.; Sunday, October 25, 11 a.m.–5 p.m.; and October 26–30, 7 a.m.–7 p.m. Confirm the schedule and site availability with your county before traveling.
The deadline for county election offices to receive applications for ballots by mail was October 23. Voters who already requested a mail ballot should follow the county's return instructions and applicable receipt deadlines.
Where to vote in Frisco
The City of Frisco's official November 3 election page is the safest starting point: https://www.friscotexas.gov/1801/November-3-2026-Election . It offers separate links for Collin County and Denton County voters.
Collin County residents can consult the Collin County Elections Department for current early-voting and Election Day locations, voter-registration information and sample ballots: https://www.collincountytx.gov/elections . Collin County voters can use designated county vote centers rather than a single neighborhood precinct location.
Denton County residents should check Denton County Elections for its official voting-location list and ballot information. Published Frisco-area early-voting sites in Denton County include Frisco Fire Station No. 4, 4485 Cotton Gin Road; Fire Station No. 6, 3535 Eldorado Parkway; Fire Station No. 7, 330 W. Stonebrook Parkway; Fire Station No. 10, 2151 Fields Parkway; and Frisco Government Center, 5533 FM 423. Locations may differ on Election Day, so verify before leaving.
Denton County election information: https://www.votedenton.gov/ . The city's county-specific election page is also useful for locating the correct county resource.
Which candidates are running?
The statewide U.S. Senate contest lists Ken Paxton (Republican), James Talarico (Democratic) and Ted Brown (Libertarian). The governor's race lists incumbent Greg Abbott (Republican), Gina Hinojosa (Democratic) and Pat Dixon (Libertarian).
For lieutenant governor, the candidates listed are incumbent Dan Patrick (Republican), Vikki Goodwin (Democratic), Anthony Cristo (Libertarian) and Kevin McCormick (Green). The attorney general contest lists Mayes Middleton (Republican), Nathan Johnson (Democratic) and Tom Oxford (Libertarian).
Other statewide contests include comptroller, land commissioner, agriculture commissioner, railroad commissioner and statewide judicial offices. Voters will also see congressional, legislative, county and possibly local contests depending on their registered address. These lists do not replace an individual's sample ballot.
For official certified candidate lists and ballot documents, visit the Texas Secretary of State: https://www.sos.state.tx.us/elections/laws/2026-november-general-election.shtml . For an address-specific explanatory ballot guide, see the Texas Tribune: https://apps.texastribune.org/features/2026/texas-general-election-ballot-november-2026/ .
What to check before leaving home
Confirm your registration and county, find an approved voting center for the date you plan to vote, review your sample ballot and bring an acceptable form of voter identification. Texas publishes voter-ID requirements and procedures for voters who do not possess one of the standard photo IDs at https://www.votetexas.gov/ .
Some polling places, opening hours and candidate lists can change through official updates. Use the county election office rather than a social media post as the final authority on your polling location.
Election coverage and polling
Campaign reporting and public-opinion polls can help readers understand the issues being discussed, but polling figures are snapshots of surveyed populations, not election results. This guide does not present an unverified local poll or predict a winner. Readers can follow election administration notices through the Secretary of State and the two county election offices.

The city's county links are a good starting point.
Those extended weekday hours make early voting doable for me.
I'm more worried about finding parking than choosing a county.
I voted at the Government Center last time. Pretty quick.
I appreciate seeing the Green candidate for lieutenant governor included.
Please be patient with first timers at the polling places.
I thought Election Day was a Monday. Glad I checked.
Eldorado Parkway is convenient, but I'll verify the hours first.
The October 23 mail application deadline deserves more attention.
I'd like more detail on the local contests.
Denton has several Frisco sites, which is good to see.
I keep my sample ballot notes on paper before voting.
A 7 p.m. Cutoff feels tight after a long shift.
Paula ReedIt really is. At least anyone already in line by 7 can still vote.
The county boundary can be a real headache in Frisco.
I want to know more about the attorney general candidates.
Fire Station No. 7 on Stonebrook is easy to find.
Already missed registration? That's frustrating for new neighbors.
Collin County vote centers are handy, but check the approved list.
I wish every race got the same attention as governor.
I'm glad the mail ballot return instructions get a mention.
Does anyone know if Fire Station No. 6 gets crowded?
We don’t have reliable crowd information for Fire Station No. 6. It’s listed as a Denton County early-voting site, but wait times can vary.
Seven in the morning Saturday was a nice option.
That early start was helpful! Saturday, October 24, voting hours were 7 a.m. To 7 p.m.
My neighbor thought all Frisco ballots matched. They don't.
Polls are interesting, but I'll wait for actual votes.
The agriculture commissioner race deserves some homework too.
Which county you're registered in matters more than your nearest station.
October 30 is my target. I always put it off.
I'll double check Denton County before heading to Fields Parkway.
It's nice to see voting hours laid out by day.
I didn't realize lieutenant governor had four candidates listed.
It does: the listed lieutenant governor candidates are Dan Patrick, Vikki Goodwin, Anthony Cristo and Kevin McCormick. Your sample ballot is the best way to check what you’ll see.
The FM 423 location would save me a drive.
Eleven to five Sunday is a pretty short window.
I always forget Frisco is split between two counties.
It’s easy to forget! Checking whether your registered address is in Collin or Denton County is the best first step.
Dave ThompsonMe too. I have to check my county every election before looking up a voting site.
I'm looking up the judicial races before I go.
Checking registration now beats a surprise at the polls.
Glad there's Sunday voting today. That helps a lot.
Maria G.Same here. The 11 to 5 hours make it much easier to fit in today.
Sunday voting can make a big difference. Both counties list today’s early-voting hours as 11 a.m. To 5 p.m.. Please confirm your site before you go.
I appreciate the reminder about options if you lack photo ID.
Don't assume your usual spot is open on Election Day.
Frisco Fire Station No. 4 is near my commute.
Abbott and Hinojosa are getting my attention this year.
I wish mail ballot deadlines were easier to keep straight.
They can be confusing. The application deadline was October 23. If you already requested a ballot, follow your county’s return instructions and receipt deadlines.
The Friday early voting cutoff is worth putting on the fridge.
Grant FosterGood idea. I keep thinking early voting goes through the weekend, but Friday is the last day.
Frisco crosses counties, and our family somehow landed on both sides.
My sample ballot had county races I hadn't heard about.
Glad this doesn't pretend a poll can call the winner.
I'd rather vote early than gamble on November 3 traffic.
Early voting runs through Friday, October 30, so there’s still time to make that plan.
The 7 p.m. Closing time matters if you're stuck at work.
Stonebrook is handy for us, assuming it's open when we go.
Stonebrook is listed as a Denton County early-voting site. Please check the county’s current list before heading over.
I hope both counties keep their location lists updated.
Paxton and Talarico will make that Senate race interesting.
A sample ballot beats guessing at the voting booth.
Sunday hours start at eleven, not seven. Worth remembering.
I want to read up on the railroad commissioner race first.
Check the ID rules before you leave, folks.
Collin vote centers make things easier for my schedule.
I'm in Frisco but vote through Denton County. Easy to forget.
Does anyone know if the Fire Station No. 6 line moves quickly?
I appreciate seeing the Libertarian names listed too.
The governor race will bring plenty of people out.
Curious how busy the Cotton Gin Road site gets.
Fire Station No. 10 on Fields is news to me.
I'll trust the county site over a neighborhood group post.
Good reminder that being in line by seven counts.
Mail ballot applications closed Friday, which will catch some people out.
The county split should be in bigger print everywhere.
Frisco Government Center is convenient if it's on your county's list.
Exactly, Frisco Government Center is on the published Denton County early-voting list, but it’s worth confirming your county and site before you go.
I'm voting early. Election Day lines aren't for me.
Mark L.Same here. I went on a weekday last time and was in and out pretty quickly.
That October 5 registration deadline came up fast.
Seven to seven on November 3 gives folks a fair shot.
Please check Election Day locations. They can differ from early voting.
The sample ballot is where I always find a surprise race.
I wish the Collin County sites were listed too.
Those 7 a.m. Openings next week help commuters.
They should make voting before work easier: published early-voting hours for October 26, 30 are 7 a.m. To 7 p.m. Confirm your site with your county before leaving.
Fire Station No. 7 is close to me. Nice to see it listed.
Check your county first, seriously. I learned that the hard way.
kim_87I did too. My Frisco address is in Denton County, but I assumed Collin.
Glad Sunday voting is an option. I work Saturdays.
Frisco being in two counties still confuses people.
