Quote Of The Day

"A place grows not just by adding people, but by adding purpose — and the best communities decide what they stand for before they decide what they want to build."

Pumpkin Dunk is wild lol. Who thought of floating pumpkins in a pool but honestly my daughter is going to lose her mind over this.

Joke Of The Day

Frisco, TX just opened its 47th new restaurant, 3rd new sports complex, and 2nd new master-planned community this month.

The city's motto used to be "Where Texas Meets Tomorrow" — now it's just a loading screen.

Frisco just added a major new outdoor destination.

Northwest Community Park opened October 3 with 122 acres of recreation space, including trails, playgrounds, pickleball courts, a dog park and a skate area.

The park expands outdoor options for one of Frisco’s fastest-growing areas and is designed to serve families, athletes, walkers and dog owners.

Downtown energy, local eats and a few reasons to mark the calendar.
Q/A Questions

Q: Frisco is one of the fastest-growing cities in the U.S., but how did it get its name?

A: The city takes its name from the St. Louis–San Francisco Railway, commonly nicknamed the "Frisco" line, which passed through the area in the early 1900s. The railroad stop helped establish the small farming community that would eventually grow into one of Texas's most dynamic cities.

Q: Is Frisco really home to more professional sports headquarters than most people realize?

A: Yes — beyond being known for the Dallas Cowboys' training facility at The Star, Frisco also hosts the FC Dallas soccer club at Toyota Stadium and serves as headquarters for multiple minor and development league teams. The city has deliberately positioned itself as a sports destination, which drives both tourism and local economic development in ways that go well beyond game-day ticket sales.

Q: What makes Frisco's public school district stand out compared to other fast-growing suburban districts in Texas?

A: Frisco ISD has had to open new schools at a remarkable pace to keep up with population growth, at times launching several campuses in a single year. Despite that rapid expansion, the district has consistently maintained high academic ratings, partly by investing early in career and technical education programs that give students hands-on training in fields like engineering, healthcare, and digital media before they graduate.
