About

Established in 1997, we teach the most practical methods of self-defense using the Wing Chun and Escrima programs of Emin Boztepe and Rene Latosa. Bruce Lee and the Ip Man films have popularized these arts.They are authentic Chinese and Filipino martial arts that exist for street effectiveness and efficiency. Simple but sophisticated, they are based on scientific concepts for anyone’s benefit. We follow a strategy of aggressive defense in realistic, scenario-based training, including multiple attackers and all ranges of a fight (standing, ground, weapons). We address avoidance, de-escalation, legal aspects, and the physiology of defending against violence. We also have FUN in a relaxed, learning environment!
